WHAT ARE SHORT-TERM MISSION TRIPS?

Short-term missions are an impactful way to connect with and support sponsored children, their families, and their communities. Teams and individuals work under the guidance of VisionTrust staff and other local leaders to make a real difference in the most vulnerable lives — and leave a lasting impression on their own.

Listen as Pastor Aaron shares about his experience serving at the San Miguel VisionTrust School in the Dominican Republic with his church, Warsaw Evangelical Presybterian Church.

“I was seeking God about how He wanted to use our team to impact the lives of the children at Projeto Amar. One thing that the Lord revealed to me was the intent of His heart.”

- MiKayla S.

SHORT TERM MISSION TRIPS MISSION STATEMENT

VisionTrust mission teams exist to further God’s kingdom in the majority world through building God-honoring relationships between VisionTrust’s local programs and their surrounding communities, team members, and USA staff. Our main objectives are to share the love of Christ, discover what the greatest needs are and learn how to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
