Give, and It Shall
Be Given Unto You

Beyond Sponsorship.
Sponsoring a child isn’t the only way you can make a difference with VisionTrust.
There are many ways to give — find one that works for you below.

GIVE WHERE NEEDED MOST

Make a one-time donation to the VisionTrust program most in need.

From clean drinking water to medical resources, find a cause that speaks to you.

PLANNED GIVING

Planned giving can help you accomplish your giving goals, increase the impact of your gift, and may reduce taxes. Here are some examples of planned giving to consider:

Will or Trust

It’s simple to name your favorite ministries as beneficiaries of your financial accounts, as well as your will or trust, when you pass on. Naming a ministry as the beneficiary of your tax-deferred retirement accounts is often the best way to make a bequest because the ministry can receive the funds tax-free.

Appreciated Assets

Appreciated assets include publiclytraded stock, closelyheld stock, bonds, mutual fund shares, and real estate. By giving appreciated stock or real estate directly to ministry, you receive a charitable deduction for the fair market value and avoid capital gains tax.

Other Charitable Giving Tools

Other options for planned giving include:

  • Giving from your IRA
  • Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)
  • Giving when selling a business
  • Charitable Gift Annuities (CGAs)
  • Charitable Remainder Trusts (CRTs)
  • Giving life insurance
  • Cryptocurrency

“I was seeking God about how He wanted to use our team to impact the lives of the children at Projeto Amar. One thing that the Lord revealed to me was the intent of His heart.”
