The VisionTrust “Prayer Team“ The prayer team receives prayer request emails from VisionTrust staff three times per month (one update for each region: Africa, Asia, and Latin America).

The prayer ministry for VisionTrust is divided up into three tiers:

The VisionTrust “Prayer Warriors“ This tier is for people who have perhaps visited one of our programs overseas or have a deeper interest in the work of VisionTrust. Besides the regular, general prayer emails that are sent out to the tier 1 Prayer Team, the Prayer Warriors will also receive a targeted email on a monthly basis. These emails may focus on a particular aspect of the VisionTrust ministry (such as orphans, etc.), or a region where we work, or a particular country.

The VisionTrust “Prayer Force“ This tier is meant for a specific set of individuals who are deeply invested in God’s work through VisionTrust. In 1 Chronicles 12:32, the sons of Issachar are described as “men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do.” This would be a good description of the deep involvement level that the VisionTrust Prayer Force would have. Besides getting the emails that go out to the Prayer Team and the Prayer Warriors, the Prayer Force would meet once a quarter on Zoom for a prayer meeting.
